DIY Floral Art

Last fall I bought 6 black frames from a garage sale for a dollar a piece, but until now I have been totally stumped on how to use them. This past weekend, I found myself with a bucket of leftover Easter flowers, and I just had to find a way to use them.

This is what I came up with.

Becoming My Own Blog Boss

This week is my first week as a full time, stay at home, blogger -- something I have been dreaming about for years! Last May, I started this blog at the urging of my friends, and almost 12 months later I have the opportunity to make attempt to make this my full time gig!

While this is such an amazing adventure I get to go on, it's also kind of scary. I received an email this week from an entrepreneur + blog tips site I follow that said "Hey Sallie! Did you know that 90% of blogs fail?" Perfect timing. I have so many ideas for what I would like to do, and how I would like to do it, but at the back of my mind there's also the thought "What if this fails." What if I invest time, money, energy into this thing and it never goes anywhere?

DIY Easter Egg Place Cards

Helloooo!! It's been a few weeks dear readers, and for that I am so sorry! It has not been for a lack of things to say, but rather a lack of time to say them. I am back to it, and hopefully I will never leave you alone for that long ever again.

In my absence, Easter really snuck up! Since my husband works for our church, Easter is a very busy season for us! This year, I am hoping to have a small Easter brunch with my husband's family, and I came up with these Easter Egg Place Cards to make it a little more festive. These are sooo simple, and I'm even including a printable for you to use to make your own.
